BRDA
The BRDA madium voltage, double bus-bar switchgear system is designed for primary distribution of AC three-phase electric energy with a rated frequency of 50Hz and rated voltage up to 17,5 kV.

Thanks to the double bus-bar solution, the BRDA switchgear may be used in conditions, where reliability and flexibility of switching operations between two different power sources secure the continuity of power supply. Thios is very essential for objects of critical destination, production plants in processing industry and in electrical power distribution system of weak networks.
The BRDA system of withdrawable MV switchgear units has received many awards and distinctions:
- The MTP Golden Medal during the Expopower exhibition;
- Promotional Emblem TERAZ POLSKA;
- the Golden Medal of the President of SEP (the Polish Association of Electrical Engineers) during the Expopower exhibition as a “Special Distinction of Merit for electrical products developed by Polish electricians and engineers”.
The advantages of the BRDA withdrawable switchgear system includes:
- Modern design solutions
- High internal arc discharge withstand strength
- Arc discharge protection
- Diverse configurations of switchgear panel systems
- High operating safety
- High operating reliability
- High corrosion resistance
- Easy servicing and maintenance
Application and features of the system
The BRDA madium voltage, metal-clad double bus-bar switchgear system is designed for primary distribution of AC three-phase electric energy with a rated frequency of 50Hz and rated voltage up to 17,5 kV in electric power distributiion networks of public utilities and industrial power distribution networks.
The BRDA switchgear unit applications include:
- Power generating plants
- Power engineering facilities
- Industrial settings
