WARTA
LV switchgear WARTA can be used both as main switchgear, and the smallest distribution switchgearsand control panels. Implementation of the whole electric power system based on one system enables unification of all equipment installed on the site.
Safety of WARTA LV switchgears is ensured by compliance with standards: PN-EN 61439-1 and PN-EN 61439-2.
Advantages of switchgear WARTA:
- High safety of service achieved by design solutions ensuring internal arc resistance and use of mechanical and electrical interlocks eliminating faulty switching operations,
- Use of the advanced and reliable switchgear,
- High resistance to corrosion, thanks to the use of metal galvanized components and protecting the external door covers with durable paint coats,
- Modular construction ensuring flexible modeling of panels and their equipment,
- Precise draw-out unit system,
- Robust construction ensuring high mechanical life and performance reliability,
- Reliable bus-bar system, allowing to reduce maintenance costs.
Application and features of the system
Switchgear WARTA can be used as main and branch switchgear.
The WARTA system ensures high level of safety during operation and handling of the switchgears.
LV switchgear WARTA are state-of-the-art devices and can be used in many branches of industry, such as in:
- power industry,
- building industry,
- mining sector,
- chemical (including petrochemical) industry,
- arms industry
- ship-building industry
Switchgear WARTA can be made as free-standing or wall designs. Alternative design of junction cubicles in rear part of switchgear enables easy access to cables from the rear side of the switchgear. When using the switchgear in climatic conditions other than moderate ones it is possible to use additional elements facilitating operation of the switchgear, such as radiators, air conditioners, etc. These elements are selected on individual basis, depending on the environmental conditions, type and number of switchgear used.
Due to a broad portfolio of low voltage instrumentation and flexibility of the WARTA system, it is possible to install the instrumentation according to the customer’s preferences upon prior technical arrangements.
Technical data and certificates

Environmental operating conditions
Switchgear WARTA with installed switchgear are adapted for operation indoor with the following environmental conditions:
Installation altitude above sea level | up to 1000 m | |
---|---|---|
Ambient temperature: | peak short-time | 313 K (+40°C) |
maximum average during the day | 308 K (+35°C) | |
minimum sustained | +5°C | |
Air relative humidity at 313K (+40°C): | during standstill or operation | max. 50% |
In the case of conditions jeopardizing proper functioning of the switchgear, e.g. where moisture can condensate on the switchgear elements, measures counteracting unfavorable results of these phenomena, e.g. installation of heating or air conditioning system, should be undertaken.
